The Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team organised the Cantonese Opera Show for eleven consecutive years

Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team hosted the Cantonese Opera Show for more than 600 elders from the Association’s Elderly Service Department on 19th May. They enjoyed “The Reincarnation of Lady Plum Blossom” in Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mrs. Kwok Li Mung Yee, Helen, Assistant Director for Social Welfare Department (Youth and Corrections Branch) was one of the officiating guests, alongside representatives from Hip Hing-Vibro and the Association.

The Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team composed of employees of Hip Hing Construction and Vibro (H.K) Limited coordinated the preparation work and the logistics arrangement of the event. They also escorted the elders from the shuttle bus drop off point to the hall. The elders, who came from different districts including Sai Wan, Sham Shui Po, Tsing Yi, Sha Tau Kok, etc., were happy to have the opportunity joining the event and appreciated the tender loving care from the volunteers.

The Association is grateful for the support from Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team. The opera show expressed love to the elders and promoted the caring for elders. At the same time, it encourages the aged to engage in social activities and develop hobbies that contribute to active ageing.
