Tuen Mun Street Dance Carnival 2018
 
  
   

HKYWCA organised “Street Dance Carnival 2018” at Tin Hau Temple Plaza in Tuen Mun, to offer youths a platform to showcase their talents, and to promote street performing culture to the citizens. 

The Association was pleased to have Mr. Leung Kin Man, BBS, MH, JP, Chairman of Tuen Mun District Council, Mr. To Sheck Yuen, MH, Chairman of District Facilities Management Committee, Ms. Joanna Tsui, Assistant District Officer (1) of Tuen Mun District Office, Home Affairs Department, Ms. Lee Lai Fan, Deputy District Leisure Manager (District Support) Tuen Mun of Leisure and Cultural Services Department, and street dancer B-girl Ling to officiate at the ceremony. B-Girl Ling and B-Boy ET shared street dance culture and the latest trend with the audience. B-Boy ET also gave an amazing breakdancing performance. A total of 13 teams of teenage performed on stage, and entertained the audience with a variety of street dances, rapping and fixed-axle diabolo. The performances attracted 150 citizens and met with loud applause.  

Apart from the stage show, booths about breakdancing, fixed-axle diabolo, graffiti, sculpting etc. were set up and offered participants a chance to know more about street performing culture, and also a joyful weekend.
